About Handcraft Revival

At Handcraft Revival, we believe in the beauty of traditional skills, the joy of creating with our hands, and the power of community. Founded by Jennifer Samuelson and Melissa Mott in Salt Lake City, our folk school is a space where craftsmanship, creativity, and heritage come together.

We offer hands-on workshops in time-honored crafts—from weaving and woodworking to natural dyeing and hand embroidery. Whether you’re a beginner looking to try something new or an experienced maker deepening your skills, our classes are designed to inspire and connect.  For the younger folks we offer after school craft clubs, summer and school break camps and occasional mini camps.

In addition to our workshops, clubs and camps, we also have a carefully curated market featuring Waldorf-inspired goods and craft kits. Our selection supports creativity, imaginative play, and the beauty of handmade traditions, making it easy to bring the spirit of handcraft into your home.

We also offer our unique Handcraft Café hours.  Our café isn’t about coffee—it’s about crafts! You can ‘“order” a kit from our inspiring selection of handcraft projects, from Waldorf-inspired creations to traditional folk arts. Whether you bring your own work-in-progress or choose from our carefully curated kits, this is a place to sit, stitch, weave, carve, and create in good company.  Follow us on instagram (@Handcraft.revival) for up to date café hours.

Handcraft Revival is more than just a place to learn; it’s a gathering place. A place where stories are shared, skills are passed down, and creativity thrives. We invite you to slow down, learn something meaningful, and become part of the revival.

Join us in bringing craftsmanship back to life.
