Few things feel more timeless than the fizzy sweetness of homemade root beer.

In this hands-on class, you’ll experience the nostalgic craft of brewing your own old-fashioned root beer, made with simple ingredients and traditional methods.

Guided by Stan Bailey, you’ll learn how to mix, flavor, and bottle a small batch of root beer—just like families once did around kitchen tables and old general stores. Along the way, Stan will share the history behind this classic homemade soda and the techniques that create its distinctive flavor and natural carbonation.

You’ll leave with four bottles of your own brew, ready to finish fermenting at home and share with family or friends.

Ticket Options

Full Ticket (Class + Supplies) — $50 + $20 supply fee

Includes admission to the class and all necessary supplies.
You’ll brew your own full batch of old-fashioned root beer and take home 4 filled swing-top bottles.

Returning Student Ticket (Bring Your Own Bottles) — $50 + $5 supply fee

For students who have taken a previous root beer or kombucha class and are bringing back swing-top bottles purchased from Handcraft Revival.

For safety and fermentation reliability, we can only accept bottles originally purchased from us.

Date Night / Work-Together Add-On — $40

Must be purchased in addition to at least one Full Ticket.

This option allows a second participant to join and share the same ingredients, tools, and workstation—perfect for couples, friends, or parent/teen duos.

One Full Ticket or Returning Student Ticket is required before adding this option.
Limit 1 add-on ticket per Full Ticket.

Good to Know

• This is an active class—expect to stir, taste, and bottle.
• Wear clothing you don’t mind working in.
• Bottles will continue carbonating at home for a few days before drinking.

Refund & Transfer Policy

Refundable for store credit up until 1 week before the event.
After that, tickets are transferable to another person only. Please try to give us a heads up at least 24 hours in advance.
