Learn the foundational skills of basket weaving in this hands-on, beginner-friendly class. You’ll be guided step-by-step through the process of creating a simple, functional basket using natural materials and traditional techniques.

We’ll cover the basics—soaking and preparing materials, starting a base, shaping the walls, and finishing off the rim. Along the way, you’ll pick up techniques that can be used for future basket projects, big or small.

No experience necessary—just bring a willingness to work with your hands and a bit of patience. You’ll leave with a handmade basket and the knowledge to keep weaving on your own.
