Spend an evening learning the art of stained glass assembly while creating a miniature stained glass tribute to Salt Lake City’s beloved 9th & 9th whale.
In this beginner-friendly class, students will work with pre-cut glass pieces while learning the copper foil and soldering process used in traditional stained glass work. Local stained glass artist Annie Christensen of Alta Stained Glass will guide students through foiling, fitting, soldering, and finishing their piece step by step.
This class is a wonderful introduction to stained glass soldering and assembly—especially for students who may not be ready to learn glass cutting just yet. It is also a great opportunity for returning students to practice their foiling and soldering techniques.
