Taught by: Kandyce Galanis
Bring light to the darkest nights of the year by weaving your own Swedish Solstice Star! Using natural or dyed reed, twine, and ribbon, you’ll create a stunning eight-pointed star to hang in a window or over the mantle—beautiful for the holidays and beyond.
Under Kandyce’s guidance, you’ll learn how to bend, tie, and weave the reed into this classic Scandinavian design, finishing it off with hand-dyed silk or ribbon tails for a festive touch. Each star measures roughly 10–12” across and can be customized with your choice of materials.
Whether you come solo, with friends, or make it a creative date night, this evening promises cozy conversation and hands-on making.
