Learn how to make your own ginger ale from scratch in this hands-on soda making class at Handcraft Revival in Salt Lake City. This beginner-friendly class teaches the traditional method for brewing a naturally fermented soda — no syrups, shortcuts, or cans involved — just fresh ingredients, time, and a bit of patience.
There’s something refreshing about crafting your own soda — balancing spice, sweetness, and fizz into something bright, crisp, and entirely your own.
Together, we’ll explore how ginger ale has been brewed historically, how fermentation works, and how to balance heat, sweetness, and carbonation for a lively, refreshing summer drink. We’ll finish by bottling your brew in swing-top bottles, ready to take home and chill.
This class makes for an easy summer outing — come learn something new, make something refreshing, and leave with a drink you’ll be excited to share.
