July 20-23 | Four day camp | 1:00-4:00pm| Ages 6+
Taught by Melissa Mott
Camp Overview
This open-format handwork camp is designed for children who enjoy working with their hands and want time to focus on ongoing projects in a supportive studio setting. Campers will spend the morning knitting, crocheting, stitching, or working on other handwork projects at their own pace, with guidance and encouragement along the way.
This is a calm, process-focused camp that feels more like a shared makers studio than a step-by-step class.

How This Camp Works
Campers are welcome to bring their own handwork projects (knitting, crochet, embroidery, etc.). If needed, campers may arrive a few minutes early to purchase a skein of yarn or basic supplies from our shop.
We’ll have shared tools (needles, crochet hooks) available to borrow, but yarn and other consumable supplies are not included in the camp tuition.
Throughout the morning, campers will have time to:
- Work independently or alongside others
- Ask for help as needed
- Take breaks
- Enjoy conversation and quiet focus
Daily Rhythm
Each morning will follow a gentle, consistent rhythm:
- Open handwork time in the studio
- A short nature walk, weather permitting
- Snack break
- Return to open handwork time to continue projects
This rhythm allows campers to settle in, move their bodies, and then return to their work with fresh focus.
