Give your homeschool days a steady rhythm and the joy of working with your hands. In this 10-week class, students will explore a variety of traditional handcrafts inspired by the Waldorf approach to handwork—learning through natural materials, patience, and purpose.

Guided by our experienced handwork teachers, children will work on projects such as knitting, crochet, embroidery, sewing, and other fiber arts, using materials like wool, cotton, wood, and beeswax. Each craft is introduced step-by-step, allowing students to build skills while creating beautiful, useful items they can be proud of.

The class is arranged in “blocks,” each focused on a specific skill. Tuition includes the materials needed for the first project in each block. If a student wishes to make additional projects beyond the first, we’ll connect with parents to arrange an additional supply fee.

Along the way, children will develop fine motor skills, perseverance, and a deep connection to the making process—skills that will serve them in craft and in life.
