Date: Saturday, November 15 | 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Taught by: Virginia Whiting
Nothing says “handmade holiday” like a quilted Christmas stocking ready to hang by the fire.
In this cozy afternoon session, you’ll learn how to assemble and finish a fully lined stocking using your own pieced panel from the morning workshop—or choose from one of our fabric panels if you’re joining just for the afternoon.
Virginia will guide you through layout and construction, sewing techniques for curves and linings, and thoughtful finishing details like binding and hang loops.
✨ No patchwork? No problem!
If you didn’t attend the morning session, you’ll select a beautifully quilted panel to use for your stocking. Every option is crafted from festive, high-quality fabrics that make your finished stocking truly shine.
You’ll leave with a finished heirloom stocking and the confidence to make more for friends and family—each one stitched with love and ready to be filled with holiday cheer.

FAQ
Can I take this class if I didn’t attend the morning session?
Yes! You can make a beautiful solid-fabric stocking instead of one with a the patchwork—just let us know in advance so we can have materials ready.
Do I need prior sewing experience?
You should know the basics of using a sewing machine—threading, straight stitching, and general operation—but no advanced sewing knowledge is required.
What should I bring?
All tools and materials are provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own quilt block if you made one earlier in the day.
Is there a lunch break between sessions?
Yes—join us for a cozy bowl of chili and cornbread ($10 add-on) or bring your own meal and relax in the studio before the afternoon class begins.
