Description
Welcome spring with a beautiful handmade basket—perfect for gathering eggs, holding spring treasures, or carrying home something special from the market.
In this hands-on basket weaving workshop, instructor Kandyce Galanis will guide students through the process of weaving a charming spring gathering basket featuring a round woven base, a wooden handle, and colorful woven accents. This basket is slightly larger than last year’s treat basket, but still considered a small-to-medium size—an ideal practical basket that’s both decorative and functional.
Students will learn traditional weaving techniques including twining and a unique decorative border, and will leave with a finished basket ready for springtime adventures.
Whether you’re brand new to basket weaving or returning for another project, this class is a wonderful way to learn, build skills, and enjoy the rhythm of working with natural materials.
