This 4 day College Prep Cooking camp is designed to help teens build confidence and independence in the kitchen before cooking on their own.
Students will learn how to prepare simple, healthy meals, practice essential kitchen skills, and gain a better understanding of grocery shopping, budgeting, and meal planning. The focus is on practical, repeatable recipes and habits students can carry with them into dorm living, shared apartments, or busy schedules away from home.
This is a hands-on, skill-building camp with plenty of time for cooking, tasting, and learning together.
What We’ll Cover
- Simple, healthy recipes students can make on their own
- Kitchen basics: safety, tools, and cleanup
- Meal planning and basic grocery shopping skills
- Budgeting for food and cooking away from home
- Building confidence and independence in the kitchen

Pricing
- Supply Fee: $25
The supply fee includes ingredients and materials used throughout the week.
Daily Camp Rhythm
Each day includes hands-on cooking, shared meals or tastings, and time for discussion and planning. Students will also take part in a short outdoor break during the session.

- Recipes are designed to be approachable and practical
