with Annie Christensen of Alta Stained Glass
There’s something timeless about stained glass — colorful pieces carefully cut and fitted together by hand, glowing when held to the light.
In this beginner stained glass class, students will learn the traditional copper foil method from start to finish with local stained glass artist Annie Christensen of Alta Stained Glass. Together, we’ll move through the full stained glass process step by step: working from a pattern, cutting glass, grinding pieces for fit, applying copper foil, and soldering everything together into a finished stained glass citrus slice to take home.
Students will be able to choose their own citrus color palette — lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, or something entirely their own.
While this class is beginner friendly and open to anyone ages 16+, it would also be a wonderful next step for students who have previously taken one of Annie’s stained glass classes and are ready to build confidence with the full stained glass process.
